 The 2nd Stakeholders workshop on the Population Perspective Planning was held at Paro on 14 & 15 April. The two day workshop was attended by the Task Force members and invitees from various other relevant stakeholders including government agencies, UNFPA and the Civil Society Organization Authority.
This workshop was organized as follow up to the first workshop which was held on 11 March 2009 at Hotel Druk which discussed mainly on the goals and strategies for the Population Perspective Plan. While the Paro Workshop reviewed the Population Situation Analysis Report and the goals and strategies discussed in the first workshop, the main focus of the workshop was on the development of an Action Plan based on the goals and strategies.
The workshop was conducted by the Research & Evaluation Division (RED), GNHC, through UNFPA support and facilitated by Sangay Tempa, National Consultant and Officers of RED, GNHC
